WOMEN’STEC is an innovative regional charity based in North Belfast. It was born out of a recognised need for non-traditional training and employment for women in industries with historically low female representation including construction, engineering and information technology.

WOMEN’STEC supports women/girls to address the barriers that prevent them from moving into employment or training and embarking on a career in an industry which is lucrative and filled with opportunities. We have an excellent reputation for providing services that help support and address issues such as lack of childcare and lack of confidence. A major aspect of our work also involves the changing of attitudes and perceptions amongst employers and wider gender stereotypes.
