WOMEN’STEC has teamed up with Work West and Belfast City Council to offer a workshop aimed at stimulating ideas for self-employment.

WOMEN’STEC students can avail of a free ideas generation workshop facilitated by Work West to look at developing new and innovative business ideas.

The workshop will provide an opportunity to explore ideas around starting a business. Some of these self-employment options could include looking at how plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating, tiling, horticulture or IT could be turned into a viable business.

The workshop will take place as follows:
Date: Thursday, 26 May 2016
Time: 10am to 12.30pm
Venue: Groundworks, 63-75 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast

Participants will then be able to avail of advice on next steps including business start support.
