WOMEN’STEC is delighted to host a Community Services Information Morning on Tuesday, 5 February between 10am-1pm at WOMEN’STEC, 29 Chichester Avenue, North Belfast.

This is the third year we have hosted this popular event, which is aimed at overall health and wellbeing and provides a great way to find out about local support services that are available to you and your family.  A range of organisations will be attending including Cancer Lifeline, Patient and Client Council, Belfast Recovery College, Women’s Aid, Surestart, Libraries NI, Eating Disorders Association, Parenting NI and others. Additionally, a local pharmacist will be present to provide free health checks on the day.

Patricia Fleming from WOMEN’STEC commented, “The format for the event is informal and those attending can browse stalls, get lots of useful information and ask questions, as well as have a cuppa. This is a great way to become more aware of a range of services that you or someone you know may need at some point in time, and how to go about accessing these services.”

The event will take place as follows:

Date: Tuesday, 5th February.

Time: 10am-1pm (drop-in anytime).

Venue: WOMEN’STEC, 29 Chichester Avenue, North Belfast, BT15 5EH.

The Action Cancer Big Bus will be at WOMEN’STEC  on the day offering breast screening and MOT health checks. Pre-booking for the Big Bus is required.
