Supporting People Empowering Communities (SPEC) Programme – contact us now to register for *taster* courses and *accredited* courses

There is no cost for our SPEC courses, however, you do have to be unemployed or working less than 16 hours per week to meet the criteria. The SPEC programme is part funded by the European Social Fund Programme 2014-2020 and the Department for the Economy.

Summer Courses 2017:

Carpentry OCN accredited (L1) July – August 2017.
Gardening OCN accredited (L1) Starts 14 August 2017.
Electrics OCN accredited (L1) Starts September 2017.
Painting & Wallpapering  OCN accredited July – August 2017.
First Aid Accredited (1 session) Various dates throughout year.
Taster Days Try out a trade before doing a longer accredited course. July – August 2017.
Goal Setting Accredited (1 session) Starts 8 June 2017.

Evening and Weekend Courses – Price on Application. Periodically throughout the year WOMEN’STEC offer evening and weekend classes for women who are working.  These are generally short introductory courses in subjects such as joinery, electrics, DIY, power tools, painting affects and plumbing.  They are an excellent opportunity for DIY enthusiasts to learn new skills in a female friendly environment.  We keep a list of those who may be interested in attending these, so feel free to contact us and find out more.

 Group Bookings – we can also offer a range of  workshop topics for your group, or for a corporate teambuilding day.
