WOMEN’STEC is delighted to offer the following evening courses at our North Belfast venue:

Wallpapering Monday, 5 & 12 November 7pm-9pm (FULLY BOOKED)

This workshop takes place over two evenings.  You’ll learn skills and insider tips to hang wallpaper like a professional. The course will include surface prep, hanging techniques, problem areas and hands-on practice. You’ll be able to apply the learning to your own home and save money by carrying out wallpapering jobs yourself!  All materials for the class will be provided.

Cost is £40 per person, includes tea/coffee.

Glass Etching – Saturday, 17 November 10am-1pm

During this 3 hour Saturday workshop, you’ll learn how to design beautiful glassware using stencil and glass etching techniques, and how to carry out projects like a professional. With your new skills, you’ll be able to design your own beautiful glassware, which also looks fantastic on mirrors. Glass etching also makes a wonderful special occasion gift! Your workshop will include all materials and you’ll take home 3 completed pieces.

Cost is £45 per person, includes tea/coffee.

Furniture UpcyclingMonday, 19 & 26 November 6.30pm-9pm

This workshop takes place over two evenings. You’ll learn how to turn a tired piece of furniture into your own up-cycled masterpiece.  Learn to repurpose a piece, sand it and paint your piece to look like new.  You’ll learn brush and paint techniques to complete a small project in class. Please note you’ll need to bring a small piece of furniture with you to work on – we suggest a small piece such as a bedside table, small occasional table, or a small wooden chair to work on (something manageable). You’ll also learn skills to take home and use on other projects!

Cost is £70 per person, includes tea/coffee.

The above workshops take place at:

WOMEN’STEC, 29 Chichester Avenue, (just off the Antrim Road), North Belfast, BT15 5EH.

Payment is required to secure your place. Bookings are on a first come basis.
