Our first Building Futures Power Tools and Plumbing class is underway in our North West workshop! This week, our learners kicked off with power tools, getting hands-on from day one. Over the next two weeks, they’ll be learning how to safely use a drill and complete some DIY projects before moving on to the plumbing section of the course. A great start, and we can’t wait to see their skills grow over the coming weeks!

Yesterday, WOMEN’STEC took part in the Local Growth Fund campaign event at Stormont, organised by NICVA  and joined a range of organisations from the community and voluntary sector. The event highlighted some serious concerns about the proposed changes to funding aimed at tackling economic inactivity.
