We’re started our year with the exciting arrival of Maxi, Amy and Sarah bringing a team of 7 to 11 in a few short months. Maxi is our Communication and Events Co-ordinator, Amy is our Social Media Officer and Sarah is our new tutor who will be facilitating classes. It was also a busy month for planning and embracing the enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge, skills and expertise that the new staff bring to the team.
Our #NJFB coordinator Una and our CEO Lynn Carvill had the pleasure of hosting one of our funders, CITB, to WOMEN’STEC for a Project Review. This was an excellent opportunity for funders, programme developers and facilitators to discuss programme content to date and to effectively plan for the future. "The financial and collaborative support given to us by CITB and our other funders is essential to the success of the #notjustforboys programme. We are grateful to all our funders and appreciate their support in helping us to break stereotypes and to give our young females equal access to information, skill-building and experience that will help them to make informed decisions about the career and employment opportunities available to them." - Una McCabe
