This week our gardening students visited Scullery O'Tullagh community allotments, just outside Ballymena. It's all run by volunteers and is so inspiring. No matter the fruit or the vegetable, they grow it! Lunch was freshly picked lettuce, radish, onions, scallions and hot dogs.
Scullery O’Tullagh works with local community groups who get to enjoy the great outdoors and it's a great place to meet and relax. On Tuesday, the gardening class used some of the tips and tricks they picked up during their visit, in their class.
