Goodbye 2025 — Hello 2026!

We're taking this chance to look back at what’s been an incredible year at WOMEN’STEC:

• January – Classes kicked off and we started the year with the brilliant bunch of girls from Holy Cross for our #NotJustForBoys programme

• February – We attended the annual Meet the CIOB conference and even featured in the Irish News!

• March was busy! - We were delighted to be featured in Specify Magazine, we celebrated Women in Construction Week, International Women’s Day, and we said goodbye to our 5 year long, brilliant Connect4Women programme

• April – Our CEO featured in NI Builder magazine, plus we celebrated our Pathways Plus Apprenticeship Inclusion Challenge Fund success

• May – We celebrated Construction Safety Week with videos from our Youth Ambassadors and a special royal visit to Buckingham Palace for our CEO and Chair

• June – A busy month with our Breakfast of #Champions and the Big Sanctuary Information Fair - lots of networking!

• July – Building Futures was hard at work with upcycling courses and the completion of our first two #NotJustForBoys summer schemes

• August – Our summer schemes wrapped up and the much-loved Big Lunch took place again at WOMEN'STEC

• September – We launched our new BUILD programme, classes began in our North West Workshop, and we had our official NorthWest workshop launch!

• October – Our North West Workshop featured on BBC News and another successful Try a Trade Day for our #NotJustForBoys team

• November – saw another amazing Christmas Craft Fair, we were delighted to be featured on BBC Children in Need NI, and we welcomed the Lord Mayor of Belfast to our Hard Hat Thinking group for the International Day for Ending Violence Against Women & Girls

• December – We atended the 2025 STEMstruct Celebration Event and finished the year with our staff Christmas lunch!
