Summer Schemes 2025 – That’s a Wrap!

What an incredible summer it’s been! From Kilkeel to Downpatrick to Belfast, our 2025 #NotJustForBoys Summer Schemes brought together an amazing group of girls ready to get hands-on, learn new skills, and have fun.

From making bird boxes and planters to trying out car mechanics, tiling, drilling, sawing, gardening and mastering power tools — these brilliant young women threw themselves into every project.

A huge well done to every single participant, and a massive thank you to our incredible #NotJustForBoys team and tutors who made it all happen. Shout out to Claire, Maxi, Joanne, Nadine and Martyna! Plus, well done and thanks to our Youth Ambassador Volunteers Sophie, Orlaith and Tierna!

An extra special thank you to our #NotJustForBoysChampions JP Corry for donating all the materials involved in our joinery workshops, across the summer schemes. We're so lucky to have such incredible supporters and #Champions who enable us to make our Summer Schemes the best they can for our students. Here's to many more successful partnerships and showing that these skills are #NotJustForBoys!
