WOMEN'STEC NorthWest with Braidwater Homes

A group of women from Leafair Community Association who are doing a 6 week DIY course with us, had the opportunity to visit Braidwater’s development site in Drumahoe. Kevin the site manager, gave our students a tour of the houses, all currently at different stages of completion. He took his time to explain everything and answered their questions with enthusiasm.

Programme Co-ordinator Patricia said, "It was great to learn about the planning, preparation, co-ordination, and hard work that goes into a building site. We were all impressed with how timber frame housing works and to see a site mid-construction was a fantastic experience. Thank you to Kevin for taking the time out of his busy schedule for us and to Aisling from Braidwater who planned the visit and made it all possible (and for all the goodies we got to take home!)"
